Dr. H.Ping Wang is an active entrepreneur + enabler that has worked to create or help various incubators/accelerators as well as coworking centers throughout the world. He is currently a LIFT (Leader in Future Trends) fellow of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and was EIR (Entrepreneur-In-Residence) at the Techstars IOT Accelerator, and Director of the Qualcomm Robotics Accelerator, Powered By Techstars - a coaching & mentorship program for robotics/AI startups. He cofounded several startup companies and brands in consumer electronics and created the first startup coworking space in San Diego, and has worked in business development and strategic roles in robotics, manufacturing, cleantech, and medtech, spanning the US (SD and SF), Asia, and Mexico. He is also an investor and advisor to dozens of startups companies and entrepreneurial organizations throughout the world. Dr. Wang received a mix of bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Biology, all from Stanford University, and integrated these fields for his PhD in AI / Neuroscience from UCSD, for which his work has been published in the journal “Science” and he is a Stanford Technology Ventures Program “Mayfield Fellow” for entrepreneurial leadership.
