I have extensive experience in business development and management of cleantech and biotechnology start-up companies. I most recently managed a large portfolio of Irish State investments in the indigenous cleantech and biotechnology sectors, as Director of Biotechnology for Enterprise Ireland. I was a key player in the development and implementation of national policy for the biotechnology sector. Formerly, I founded Target Protein Technologies, Inc., a California-based biotechnology company dedicated to the development of tissue-targeted pharmaceuticals, where my pivotal role was in managing the research programs and obtaining financing from both venture capital and governmental sources.
