Dr. Pryor is a scientist and corporate executive with over fifteen years of pharmaceutical industry experience. He has had broad operational leadership responsibilities spanning the continuum from discovery research to first-in-human studies and proof-of-concept clinical efficacy trials.  He has worked closely with PIs, coordinators, and clinical research organizations as the sponsor representative on numerous clinical trials. Dr. Pryor joined virtual biopharmaceutical company ZZ Biotech, LLC full-time in 2010 to coordinate drug development operations including manufacturing, quality systems, regulatory affairs, and clinical research, as well as budgeting and capital fundraising. He was named chief executive officer of the company’s Australian subsidiary, ZZ Biotech Pty Ltd. at its inception in December 2015.  Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer of SynthRx, Inc., Associate Director of Drug Development at Kémia, Inc., and Group Leader at Corvas International, Inc. Dr. Pryor has served on the Boards of Directors for multiple non-profit corporations. Dr. Pryor received his BA in chemistry magna cum laude from Rice University, a PhD in organic chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Rady School of Management at the University of California, San Diego.
