Startup | Getting Started Guide - The MVP
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

This is a highly interactive workshop that will take you through an abbreviated learning cycle that will get you to identify the riskiest assumptions in a product/idea, design tests for the assumptions and analyze/apply insights gained from running the tests to the idea/product in preparation for the next cycle. In other words, this workshop will get you to experience the iterative process that is central to the MVP (Minimum Viable Product).

Attendees to this workshop will ideally be early-stage entrepreneurs who are interested in applying lean methodologies to their business.

We strongly encourage you to read the "The Lean Startup" by Eric Ries (http://theleanstartup.com/book), prior to attending the workshop.

NOTE:

Attendees change schedules all the time, often right up until the start of the event. This means wait-listed attendees always have a shot. We strongly encourage attendees to add events to their schedule - wait-listed or not.

Scaling A Marketplace
Effectively scaling a marketplace is a constant balancing act. How do you deal with unpredictable demand? How to scale with suppliers? How do you maintain quality? How do you build & maintain a culture/community? How do you deal with cheaters?

Scaling requires a balance between the two to maintain and improve sales volume and profit margins. Ultimately, the value of a marketplace lies in the number of providers and consumers you serve. As in all businesses, there are two ways to grow, get more customers or sell more to the customers you've got.
