From Idea to App with User-Centered Design Techniques

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This is a practical and interactive talk that lays out a simple process to turn your idea into solid features, user flows, interfaces, and functionality for an app.

We’ll start by writing User Stories for your big idea to capture your user’s intent and goals. Then we’ll move onto extracting the Tasks users can perform while in the app and list the required Interfaces so that we can start to map out Flow Diagrams to visualize the user’s journey. Lastly we’ll talk about how to sketch out the interfaces in broad strokes and provide resources to build your design into higher fidelity Mockups or Prototypes.
